The Classic ‘Bath Game’ from Nintendo

The Classic ‘Bath Game’ from Nintendo - still with soap inside! 🛁

This one was sold in Salling, Aarhus, around Christmas 1997 due to the label on top: ‘Julebyt’ - Christmas exchange-label with price tag below.

They came in many countries in different colors. So far, this is the only one i have seen in Denmark.

V-rally completed

V-Rally - Championship Edition completed. It took me an hour or even less to get the 🏆 in the championship edition. Was that all? Was that the end of the game? 😳

First time playing that game on the Game Boy.

Fun fact for SCN-collectors - it was the last game with the SCN-region code that @bergsala distributed back then. June 19th 1998 it was released.

Gremlins 2 for Game Boy completed

Gremlins 2 completed. Holy s***! That’s one hell of a pixel perfect jumping game 🤯😳🤪

Only 4 stages / 4 bosses. The last boss was the easiest. Very easy compared to the others.

Every stage takes some time to master but then they become pretty easy but you still have to controll the jumping accuracy and thank good for the continue possibility after each stage.

It took me around 3-4 hours to complete the game. A short but very frustrating game 😅

The Game Boy pin

A Game Boy pin. A very small, very cute and very beautiful one.

Article about consoles in Denmark, 1987

Article about consoles from a danish software magazine, 1987:
“In Denmark, Nintendo is represented by the company Electronic Fun in North Jutland. Where the machines in other European countries will be sold for around DKK 1.000 incl. some games, Electronic Fun intends to rent them out in the same way as movie boxes and video films. The rental will be through your local Shell or Esso tank, and as far as we know, the grocery chain Irma has also been in the negotiation of the kit rental.

Prices for renting a Nintendo console and related games will be slightly below Movieboxes and video films."

Tetris Game Boy, SCN

This game was the last ‘block’ in the puzzle of getting a complete SCN CIB GB collection... i thought... but i went through all of my SCN boxes and there was one f**king cart missing 😳 The R-type (cart) is the last spaceship missing 👾. SO everyone - if you have a loose cart in good condition and the price is good, you might be the one to help me in getting that last block 😅

And to get back to the Tetris box - it wasn’t easy to get hold on actually. It took me half a year or so to get it from Sweden (never seen one for sale in Denmark!). The box is SCN and cart + instructions are both SCN-1. The reason for the difference must be that the bundle GB/Tetris came in 1991 with Tetris cart and instructions in SCN. The 40225 box here came in 1994 feb 25th and was the first Tetris box released in Scandinavia 🍾🥁
