What a blast – Retro Expo DK 2019! By far the largest Retro Video Game event we have seen in Denmark so far. Arcades, LAN-party, exhibitions all around, maker space, competitions, beads, talks and party!

Great talk by Martin Krogsgaard Houlind about Video games and their cultural significance. And very cool to hear the story of ’Tobu Tobu Girl’ (a Game Boy game) – from the very beginning to the Kickstarter Campaign with great succes.

The marketplace has great potential of growing even bigger next year. Lots of people buying – also lots of ’first buyers’ around. The sellers who showed up made a good job in building and filling up the floor with really nice games. I think the audience will grow next year, so to all the sellers out there – you know where to be next year – it will be even bigger i guess.

The Tetris competition is one of a kind. A party all the way and the players showed up from all around Europe. A great way to end the Retro Expo with the finals – it’s something really special and the competitors on stage is some of the best in the world – absolutely amazing to see how fast they can deal with the bricks falling down. Also the crowd was amazing as always. Boom!

Enigma Museum was a great host and a special thank should go out to Chrisstoffer for making this event with his strong backup-team. You boys n’ girls did an amazing job! THANKS

See you next year!
